Ponte di Legno, Italy

The region of Ponte di Legno is famous for skiing, its cosine and mountains all around. The idea of this project is to attract youngers to get in contact to each other by cooking, interacting, having dinner together, playing games.

Located in the middle of the mountains of Ponte di Legno, more specifically at Vescasa Bassa area, this new house follows the footprint of an ancient construction. The group decided to leave the original stones and construct inside it.
The village is currently abandoned or barely used; the idea is to bring yourgers to revitalize the space and get a new use for the area. Ponte di Legno is a touristic attraction but need to be more valued.

The interior was thought carefully, with the choice of materials, finishing, and also with the detailing of the main furniture, the kitchen counter, which would allow the small workshops to happen and also would be flexible to allow other activities. It is a small but cozy and well-distributed space to provide a good time for all.
