Brutalism housing in London

London can remind us of houses with very traditional construction, but it does not mean that it is not open to bold architecture. When proposing a housing for London, we must consider the open spaces, the light, the quality of the build and the technologies used. It is important to study all sun paths and foresee the technological choices in order to make the inhabitants’ life the most comfortable possible.

Located in the centre of London, this project aims to bring life, simplicity, light, but at the same time an architecture that has its’ importance. The choice of concrete and glass were made to focus on a simple combination that makes spaces more connected, and the big windows allow outside – inside continuity. 

The technological details were developed in order to make the building more environmentally friendly, less heavy (with the use of waffle slab) and energetically comfortable to users.
